ZAITEX is a research and development firm focusing on dyes and auxiliaries for textiles, leather and other industrial dying solutions. With three offices in Italy, a logistics hub in India, two sister companies in Turkey and Tunisia, it performs this activity supported by cutting-edge laboratories and equipment, both for bespoke assistance, and to proactively predict market needs and promote a range of products resulting from responsible chemistry. STORYTELLING VS. STORY MAKING: “Being Green, the Z-WAY”

Today, sustainability affects every sphere of our daily life. When it comes to colour, being pragmatic, in a responsible way, is crucial. For 50 years, ZAITEX has been supplying industrial dyes and laundries with dyes and auxiliariescertified according to the current regulations or third-party certifications – such as GOTS, ZDHC, bluesign® –  in full compliance with the applicable regulations, so as to optimize the textile production processes.

Likewise, its evolution within the textile supply chain from a mere supplier – or storyteller of dyes – to technical partner – storymaker for the best colour performance – results from the growth and management of lasting collaborations with suppliers, universities, certifying bodies, which are detailed in the firm’s sustainability declaration, called “The Z-WAY“. 

ZAITEX, indeed, pursues a program aimed at reducing the environmental footprint and maximizing all the positive outcomes resulting from its interactions with every stakeholder.

“The Z-WAY” is an account of the Vicenza-based company momentous milestones,  which also consists of the numerous initiatives promoted over the years, such as the adoption of a quality system, workplace safety, welfare, staff training, charity for small communities, both locally or internationally, alignment with voluntary product certifications, huge investments in leading-edge machinery, and the development of a  proprietary colorimetry software, as well as, coming soon, the Academy for clients and future collaborators.

For its textile-fashion clients, ZAITEX has long launched the project zaitexfashion – R&D for fashion trends, a lab dedicated to the research and development of eco-friendly fashion effects on dyed or denim garments. Being the fashion sector more attractive than the traditional textile one, understood as the production of yarns and fabrics, the company’s know-how, as well as its technological and consulting expertise have been repositioned to directly communicate with service, industrial dyers and brands.
